Coach Wenske

My name is Paul Wenske and I have been running Wenske Move for 7 years. I now work out of Essendon Goodlife and my home gym in Fitzroy North. I also am able to train people at office spaces, local parks and homes when required.

I specialise in Strength and Conditioning, Sport specific training (Cycling, AFL, Soccer and Golf), Hyrox, Advanced Mobility and Body transformation. I conducted my fitness qualifications at VAST Fitness Academy (Cert 3/4 and Nutrition studies). I hold a Level 1 Pregnant & Postnatal qualification. In addition attending workshops at Accardi Olympic lifting gym and Goodlife gyms. I have hosted compound lift workshops (Bench, Squat and Deadlifts).

I love to see the effect exercise has on peoples life’s. I love working with people that enjoy the hard work but also can have a laugh. I understand that everyone is different and has varying abilities and goals when it comes to undertaking fitness classes. I try to be as flexible as possible and do my best to keep people motivated despite what life throws at them.

My family and friends bring me great joy and purpose to my life. When it comes to fitness I like to keep mixing things up. Over 10 years ago I started riding road bikes doing the occassional crit, gran-fondo and long distance ride. I recently did the border run and plan to do the XL version. I understand the demands of riding first hand and love working with cyclists and athletes to develop strength and address weaknesses.

I run around the Merri Creek, play golf and really enjoy lifting weights. I try and get my grounding from walks with my family and stretches down at the park with my dog. I do my mind and body healing by reading, listening to music, beers with mates, eating well, ice baths, saunas and getting away to the ocean when we can. I look forward to working with you, let’s take those first few steps towards a stronger you in whatever capacity.

Competing in Deka and run events get me out of my comfort zone.
